We were brought in to develop a mascot that could anchor Cerebras's celebratory launch of Llama 3.1 405B. From stickers to ramen packaging, the character became a central touchpoint across every branded element.

What began as a single event illustration anchoring the visual identity of Cerebras’ Llamapalooza event became a globally deployed character system, proving that even the most advanced AI brands benefit from personality and joy.

After a successful debut in the Bay Area’s Llamapalooza event, the mascot scaled up—appearing on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square to mark Cerebras as the first generative AI IPO.

The llama illustrations were built with flexibility in mind—holding their charm whether used small on stickers or blown up across a 7-story screen.

For Cerebras’ global Llamapalooza tour, we evolved their original mascot into a versatile, location-specific character system.

For Cerebras’ global Llamapalooza tour, we evolved their original mascot into a versatile, location-specific character system.

We designed a highly expressive illustrated llama as more than a one-off character: a flexible visual system built to scale across formats, cultures, and contexts.

Each llama was tailored to reflect cities of London, Paris, Vancouver, Seattle, Mumbai, and Singapore appearing in expressive poses, dressed in traditional outfits, placed in front of iconic landmarks, or enjoying local foods.
